Lesotho Update

Dear Praying Friends,

Oswald Chambers once said, "We have to pray with our eyes on God, not on the difficulties."  Some of the following prayer requests are urgent and weigh very heavy on our hearts.  Please help us lift them to the Lord in prayer.  As you do, praise Him for the victories that have been won!
Praise:
  • Yesterday the church at Ha Mokhachane was packed to capacity.  Praise the Lord for working in the hearts of people there!
  • The orphans and most needy children from the churches in Lesotho all got together on Saturday for a special service and time to play and fellowship.  Around eighty children came.  The services were blessed with God's presence and one could see the orphans went home feeling loved.  Rachel Cutler (HIM missionary working with orphans and children's ministry in Lesotho) did a great job of coordinating this project.
Prayer:
  • Bro. Makalo, the young man who was severely burned in a car accident is still in the hospital but making good progress.  He is to have a skin graft on Wednesday of this week and hopes to get out of the hospital sometime next week.  Please keep praying for him!
  • Please continue praying for staff for the school in Ladybrand, South Africa.  This is a very urgent need, and we sense that a spiritual battle is in progress.  Please cover all of us in prayer and ask God to send laborers!
  • We have a very serious need that we cannot share details about.  Our heavenly Father has always known the details and has an answer in ready response to our faith-filled prayer.
"Prayer is not overcoming God's reluctance, but laying hold of His willingness."  --Martin Luther
Thank you for praying!
